I'd say almost certainly not Tachina fera - the tarsi are dark and the frons is very wide. But I can't think what it might be because there are lots of possibilities in the south |

Chris is right and first impression is a female magnicornis, partly for the reasons given by Chris. I don't have any objections to magnicornis Theo |
