Musca autumnalis /osiris..?

Found in june, Giethoorn (Neth.)

It looks like the eyes are hairy..?
And the abdomen very straigt yellow..?
Could it be a M.osiris.
Ore M.autumnalis

I think it's an light effect (only one eye seems hairy) and the thorax is too dusted for M. vitripennis/osiris.
M. autumnalis is my opinion.

osiris is (very) southern and not to be expected in The Netherllands (at least.... not for the next 10 years).

Then there is only one thing to do.....visiting jorgemotalmeida...he said that all Musca's are present in Portugal...GrinGrin
(but I don't daring to fly......so,... I wait 10 years...)

Grin here in the woodland near Póvoa Dão I've seen Achanthiptera rohrelliformis and other muscids... but usually I follow forensic muscids ( so I know just a few no forensic muscids). Smile Nevertheless sure we have a richness of Muscas in our woodlands. Wink
You are welcome! There were 3 foreigner dipterologists that visited me. Smile You don't need to fly... if you like to drive... it can be done by car. Pfft We have many dutch visiting us all the time!
