18 July 2008, The Netherlands, De Wieden.
In wet area with rough vegetation near lake.

Specimen is 5 - 6 mm of bodylength,

Is it enough for an id on specieslevel?
(only this one picture)

you are right. this is not cilliata but other species.

I think this is Cordilura pudica (Meigen, 1826),
but for less then 50% sure!

put on our attentention by Tony Irwin,
and from which i took the "most resembling' speciesAngry.
