Hello!

A rather light Muscid (I think) from 1st of December (northwest Germany) at a fence. Not too small (about 10 mm). Could it be Phaonia perdita?

I don't know, whether this is the same species (wing posture seems different). Unfortunately I don't remember, if it had the same size. Frown (At least it was at the same time and location.)

Hello, Joke and Lars!

Of course there were many Anthomyiids around at the same time, that I thought were Hylemya vagans/nigrimana. See my previous threads:
http://www.dipter...d_id=18168
http://www.dipter...d_id=18166

But those were considerably smaller (I had noted 6 mm). But I will change the subject accordingly.
Best regards,
Jürgen
