Uh, I know, the photos are horrible, but maybe someone with very good eyes can help me. I think this could be Physiphora alceae. Sadly its not possible to see the eyes very good but the head seems to be reddish. Are there other genera with a similar habitus? Thanks for helping me. Thank you so much Paul, I really did not hope to get an answer. I did not know where to start and than I found a photo very similar to mine. But I know that normally that is not the way to identify a fly. Thanks Nadine |
