Hello!

On Sunday (sunny, 6 °C) I took many Calliphora pictures (most of them much better than these... Cool), hoping that these winter days I would find some other species than vicina. But all turned out to have a perfectly pink or yellow face Frown. This is the only one, I'm not sure of. A male that tried to escape by letting itself drop... At house, northwest Germany.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
