The following fly, from a bog at 1485 m in the Kerkini Mts of Northern Greece was caught in a Malaise trap 30-June-2008 to 6-July-2008. It is just over 5 mm long, and the wings are very thin (for a ceratopogonid), but it looks like one and the venation is indicative. Gordon attached the following image: [53.01Kb] |
