Hello!

Birgit Gabriel has found this beautiful fly end October in her house in Berlin/Germany at a potted plant. She does not remember the size. I suspect that it is possibly a non indigenous fly, which has hatched from an exotic plant (she has orchids and palms). The closest family I could guess, was something like Ulidiidae. But it may also be a family totally unknown to me. Who can help to identify this beautiful animal? Thanks!

That looks very promising, thanks! For example: http://www.ento.c...tidae.html. Even more hits I get with the (old?) genus name Bactrocera.
Best regards,
Jürgen

Oops! I should have refreshed to see that it was just replied to! In any case, Bactrocera is not an old name for Dacus. Both genera are distinct (although many species originally described in Dacus are now in Bactrocera...). This is most likely Dacus.
