Can anyone tell me what this is? Very distinctive looking spatulate tibia. Male, 3.5mm, from 19 May 2008, lowland (95masl) central France, la Brenne, in a field occasionally grazed by cattle, but showing signs of scrub regeneration. And is this the female? 3mm, from an adjoining field, grazed by horses, same date. The legs are slightly less flattened.

Better iew of the abdominal tip. It looks as if the eyes are contiguous and that makes me suspect it is the male of another species.
