I think this is Culiseta. Can anyone suggest a species? 6mm, female, from 19 May 2008, lowland (95masl) central France, la Brenne, in a field occasionally grazed by cattle, but showing signs of scrub regeneration. Susan R Walter attached the following image:  [110.34Kb] Susan |
