 My first impression was Protocalliphora. Protophormia is more likely on the Shetlands, I guess.

 The very wide frons and the apparent lack of dorsal thoracic bristles made me think Protophormia.

 Hi Theo and Susan. Thanks for the input. The species on my Checklist are; C uralensis, C vicina, Bellardia viarum, B.vulgaris Cynomya mortuorum and finally P. terraenovae which looks the part ????

 Terraenovae would be the only species of Protophormia in the Shetlands. I don't think you are arctic enough for the only other species listed on FE.Smile
