Here is a Spider I photographed in October last year.
Seems very colourful compared to the usual ones I normally find here. Can it be named?

Hello, Roger!

This is a female Metellina merianae (Tetragnathidae). Also very frequent here around our house (seems to have proliferated explosively in the last 12 months...).

Thanks yet again Juergen for the ID. I have this one on my Checklist, but it is under Metidae not Tetragnathidae.
These are nice and colourful and I hope to get some better photo's next year with my current DSLR Camera, this was taken with a cheapo-ish Compact Camera.
Regards Again.....Roger Smile

The family Metidae does not exist any more. They were all put into the Tetragnathidae.
Best regards,
Jürgen

List corrected. Metidae seemed like a better / easier to write name Frown.
Regards Roger
