Hi Urs! It looks a female of Stemonocera cornuta Scop.! Wish it were a male with peculiar deer horns!

Urs: There is certainly one orbital seta and invisible ocellars. And also the wing pattern in S. cornuta is usually darker than in Trypeta. And they occur in Switzerland.

Hi Valery, I think you are right. Therefore I will announce my find to the Swiss entomological society because S. cornuta is not indicated for the Canton (district) St. Gallen where I live. Again best thanks and regards. Urs |
