Hi,

in fact I tried to find out how to take photos of this kind of nice silver colour fly. Seems to be tricky Frown June 29. 2008 Loviisa, Finland.

Medetera jacula (Fallen, 1823) is the most probable name. Only hairs on some parts look silvery.
