This fly was really small, I shot it by accident while I was focusing on something else. Aprox. 4-6 mm. It has been ID as possible Pandelleia sexmaculata by Paqui Mars in Insectarium Virtual. I would like to know if it could be confirmed. Shot in Sierra Nevada, 2000 masl feeding on Thapsia sp. flowers by humid mountain grassland. 29-June_2008. Granada, S Spain. |
