Hi,

I got this fly from a friend; to bad it didn't survived the transport very well...
I can't make anything of it because much bristles are missing.

Although it seems like an easy recognisable fly.
It was caught 20 october, in Moortsele (Cool

I like the spots on the wing very much, never seen anything like it (in such a straight row).
Any ideas?

Thanks allready.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
