Obviously the forelegs are broken. Are you sure that this is not a female Chironomid midge? From this angle this is my first impression, but I may be wrong.

Hi, I think there should be at least 10 veins to reach the end of the wing in a Chaoboridae. This has less, so I think Chironomidae. Regards, Walter |
