Is this Eustalomyia festiva? Male, 9mm, on flowering Anthriscus sylvestris Cow Parsley, Preston Montford Field Studies Centre, near Shrewsbury, north west England, 16 May 2006.

Not Eustalomyia, probably a Delia species

With a bit more experience under my belt since I posted this, I can certainly see that it is not Eustalomyia.

Thank you so much for looking at these old posts. It will mean we all learn much more quickly now.
