This one was biting me here in Northern Greece in May. Is an ID possible?

Thanks Tony,
I have a list of 20 mosquito species for the area, from the 'Mosquito Control People' and Aedes vexans is the only Aedes species on the list, so if you are correct then we probably have it. Mosquito control is big business here, when you pay the road tax on your car each year you pay an additional 30 Euroe for Mosquito control. This is in the Prefecturer of Serron, in other parts of Greece you don't pay this.
