| Member Location: Miskolc, Hungary Posts: 3555 Joined: 06.11.08 | Hi, I found an about 3 cm long larva in decaying wood in forest, N-E Hungary. It cast a 'web'. I think about Limoniidae, they are very common around, any water is quite far away. Some big, spottes-winged Limoniids were sitting on the very tree I found this larva in. Mycetophilids I have not seen yet in this forest, but found a huge Keroplatid, I think Platyura. Maybe this is the larva? Best regards, Walter |
