There were two of these little spiders chasing each other on a leaf, only stopping to pose for the camera for a split second. Nose to tail < 1mm in length.
Anybody know its name?

Hello!

I think it isn't a spider at all, I vote for Acari, somewhere at Gamasina.

Well nobody seems to disagree with you Tomi. I have none of these on my Checklist for Shetland, but I suppose with the very small size they are easily overlooked.
