To me it looks like a callaphorid but it's like nothing I have ever seen - nice photo Smile

Hello!

I one of my books is a picture of the Calliphorid Rhyncomya speciosa, which looks quite similar. It occurs in the southern mediterranian region, in the east to Syria.
