Thanks Theo, I had excluded Rhinophoridae, I did not known existed Stevenia with red abdomen. I have observed this fly also last year, Isn't it identifiable? Ciao Pietro |

Yes, especially females of some Stevenia can be very red on the abdomen. I'm not gonna try to give a species name. Theo |
