Physocephala laticinta?

Hi,

I had thought this was Physocephala rufipes until I noticed the thicker waist! Thought I should check if it is P. laticinta as it looks like it to me, thanks!

Off-topic-ish.. But.. What is the meaning of "rufipes"? Quite a few insect names seem to have it..

Simply said: "with red legs". Similarly with flavi- for yellow, nigri- for black, brun(n)i- for brown, lati- for broad, longi- for long, brevi- for short, spini- for spinose, etc.

Typical laticincta should have more blackish femur. But in the moment I am not sure if laticnca is realy a good species.

Thanks Jens-Hermann, I have just googled for that species and found 6 results worldwide! First two were my query, next two the pics from the Gallery, last two insectariumvirtual in Spanish! but the pics are taking time to download.

This pic from the Gallery is in S. Spain which gave me doubts too. But it looks so much like it! Shock
