hi flyforum,

We got this fly on a dutch flyforum, we are thinking a bit of Helina sp.?
It's a pitty there is no good shot of the third leg..

Suggestions and reactions are welcome!

yellow calypter
prescutellar ac
short frontal triangle(?)
arista plumose
posterior sitae(what I can see)
legs seems to be black

Difficult to say, the essential characters are not visible, but it should be either Helina either Mydaea. May be a close-up on radial node could help (Mydaea have setulae on both side of wings, Helina never on dorsal side).

Sorry. The radial node is the place where R2+3 and R4+5 are merged, just before they fork.
I add a picture of a Mydaea wing with the setulae visible to illustrate that.
