Hello

This fly swarmed a few days ago in the sodic steppe ("puszta" ) of the SE-hungarian territory (plants for example Artemisia santonicum, Salicornia europaea ).
Is it identifiable? Sorry for the poor quality.

Thank you in advance,
Greetings,
David

Looks to me as Tipula oleracea or Tipula paludosa.
Difference in determination are # of antenna segments. 13= T.oleracea, 14= T.paludosa
Best regards,
Andre

I am not sure whether T. oleracea and paludosa have such late swarming periods. Can this not be T. (T.) subcunctans?
