Hello!

Is this Phortica variegata? In the "Entomofauna germanica" it is listed with two other species (oldenbergi and semivirgo) in the subgenus Phortica in genus Amiota. What is the currently accepted placement?

Found yesterday afternoon in our garden together with many other Drosophilids (more to come here... Cool) at rotting bananas (northwest Germany). Length about 3.5-4 mm.

This should be Phortica vaiegata. Phortica is a genus in its own right, these days.
