In cataloguing the last tephritid photo I found one from last year that I don't have a name for - see below. Can anyone suggest a name for this too? Grin

Hi Chris,

Sorry, it's Trypetoptera punctulata, a Sciomyzidae and not a Tephritid. Though it looks quite nice for a non-Tephritid Wink

That would neatly explain why I can never identify this species in the HIBI key to tephritids then!! Wink Thanks again... this one gets moved to the 'Sciomyzidae' folder, along with my vast collection of Coremacera marginata photos! Grin
