Dear forum,

I took this picture today in my garden. I find it rather similar to Thelaira solivaga in the gallery. If not that one, which one is it?

Best regards, Niek

Dear Theo,

Thank you for your reaction. My garden is located in Putte, Noord Brabant, approximately 200 meters from the Belgian border.

Best regards, Niek

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
