Roger, do not forget to give locality (I guess Scotland as usualy) and date ( if image is from end Sept - it almost exclude T.semicinereus whith reach it's peak in June). Thanks for that Nikita. This fly was photographed last week in my garden. The only Pegomya I have listed is P.bicolor, which I posted in a thread on 31-08-08. It looks a bit more orange in colour than this one. Regards again Roger |

It's not Pegomya bicolor Roger, legs all black. Dark bands on abdomen look like semicinereus. |
