Hello,

can you help me with a determination of species of this diptera please? I think, this is Phaonia pallida. Am I right?

Thomas, it is a difficult case, my test.
1. It is not P.pallida 100%
2. My guess is Pegomya testacea, but it is only guess...

Yes, Gabor, another possibility is T.diaphanus.
I can see only 3 post dc, ac are short and allover scutum, also general jizz seems to me "too dirty".
On the other case frons is too black for P.testacea.
