Another fly from Apulia beach. This time belonging to the Coelopidae family. It is a female of Coelopa frigida, according to the Tony Irwin.
Take a look at the hind metatarsus - it's quite long and not thickened (Sphaerocerids have it swollen).

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
