Hello! Is it possible to determine the Cheilosia species after these pictures? Found yesterday at the forest edge in Ostwestfalen/Germany. Thanks in advance! When I see the fore tarsi, I am thinking of C. albitarsis/ranunculi, but, hey, what do I know of Cheilosia?

Hello, Paul! Paul Beuk wrote: When I see the fore tarsi, I am thinking of C. albitarsis/ranunculi, but, hey, what do I know of Cheilosia? I know, most Cheilosias are nearly impossible to determine after a photo. But: good bodement! In my own forum Gisela Merkel also voted for "possibly C. albitarsis" :-). Thanks!
