Well this one was photographed the same time as Microraptor 5.00pm Friday 12th September 2008Grin, on the sandy banks of the river Strymon in Northern Greece.

Same place, same time, probably same species, but with yellow spots not white, could it be older, or the other sex? Or just individually oriented?

No1 is male Lispe, probably Lispe consanguinea.
No 2 is also a male Lispe, but I have no idea of which species.

I tried to catch some specimens yesterday, but caught got in a very aggressive storm, walked home through the hail. anyway I may have one Lispe, it has the same general form including the swollen clypeus, but appears to have very dull, or no spots on the abdomen. I will try again.

I see that FE states there are about 28 species of Lispe known to Europe, is there a good key to the genus?
