This is only the second time I watch this fly
in both cases the habitat was dryed marsh land

The first case was not far from the current location (5 km)
Summer time (August 2007)

I saw twice this beauty. I saw them near Mentha flowers-. Only in warm weather. This Toxophora cf. fasciculata. I don't know if in Israel there are other Toxophora.

probably correct but there are some very similar species including some undescribed.
