Very small, the size of Syritta pipiens aprox. Shot today, in Granada, S Spain in a small mountain creek. 1100 masl.

It would help, if you posted this in the Asilidae forum. Such small asilids occur in the subfamily Stichopogoninae, but this is likely a species that is restricted to Southern Europe.

Hi,

this is a Holopogon species. I'm not very familiar with mediterranean species, so I can't tell you anything about the species.
