Hi,

today (14.august.2008) visited a natural park near Retezat and one of the fly found there was this drosophilid. a lot of them on some mushrooms (will be identified this days, just let me know if needed the name).

altitude around 1200m, a very old beech (Fagus) forest (at least 200 years in average). several specimens collected.

i have not find any match in the gallery (at least for my eyes).

can be IDed furter?
thanks in advance,
cosmln

Perhaps Hirtodrosophila trivittata. Maybe Paul can tell you if this is correct (or not Smile ).

Confirmed as trivittatus. Listed as "fungus breeding species", so the Pleurotus does not seem to be a problem there.
