Hello!

Nice, spotted winged fly from my garden, Hungary. Never seen earlier. I am not sure even about the family. (Ulidiidae??) I beheld it on corn/maize waggling its wings occasionally. Small sized, 4-6 mm long or smaller. Much appreciate for any idea about the family or species.

Right. Euxesta pechumani Curran, a peculiar species found in Europe 20 years before it was formally described from Bronx, NYC, USA, where it originally came from during the World War I. A curious case!
