hi,

found this tephritid two days ago (8.august.2008) when sweeping through Pulicaria plants. very small (4mm), male & female photographed.
checking forum i have reached to Myopites, something more can be added? several specimens where collected.

just checking. my mistake, was Inula britannica not Pulicaria.

Their quality is good enough to ID specimens! Luckily, the discrepance with the host-plant identity is solved. I was thinking maybe my knowledge on this group is not good enough... Shock
