what about this one? Is Empididae right? Is a closer ID possible?

Looks like there is pennation on the front leg. Rules out livida. Tentatively: serotina.

I correct myself: It is livida. I must admit, I never saw those pennate hairs on the fore femora before. I'd like to have this one in the Diptera Gallery!
