Possibly Mintho rufiventris but it might be different in southern Europe |

I hesitate. Pattern on thorax is not like Mintho, vertex is too broad, wings are much darkened. I'd say Hyperaea. Theo |

Well, maybe not "rare" (Theo might know the Palaearctic distribution) but probably just restricted to warmer, southern countries The Palaearctic manual says "4 spp.; Mediterranean" Edited by ChrisR on 01-08-2008 11:30 |
