I belive Zetterstedt described a species called Asilus forcipula Zett., but I can't find it in any checklists, publications etc.... Is it possible that this species has been synonymized with e.g. Didysmachus picipes (Meigen 1820)?

There was a Asilus forcipula Zeller, 1840 that was thus synonymized.
