 Nowickia, not Tachina magnicornis

Hi, Today I saw a quite colourful Tachina that, according to black legs and dark mark broadening towards the abdominal tip should be T. magnicornis. However, it has a black scutellum and very bristly legs. Is this within the limits of variation, or does it point to a subspecies or even a related species (I don't know any, however)? Nowickia is correct  Black legs & antennae are the clue and the whole colour-scheme is more 'contrasty' than Tachina spp. (brighter orange and darker blacks) |
