Hi, this 25mm long monster tried to eat me alive during my Tachinidae trip today Any suggestions for ID ? I did read my Tabanidae book and ended to Tabanus sudeticus, but I don't know these at all. Very nice images, cover all needed angles. Looks identical to the coloured image of a female sudeticus in "The Horse Flies of Europe"; best wait for an expert (Theo) to confirm. |

Tony T.'s judgement is a expertise as mine (since it is the same: sudeticus). Theo |
