Hello

I found in my Greenhouse in Bexbach/Germany this fly. Which species is that? Size 1cm or minimally more.

Phasia hemiptera - but I'd say it's a female (it doesn't have the wing-shape and colour of the males and it has a piercer) Smile

The body colour does seem to be darker than average specimens but this isn't relevant to the keying procedure. In central Europe any Phasia with orange hair on the thoracic pleurae are Phasia hemiptera Smile Females don't have strong wing markings.
