I hope this Robber and prey are identifiable from this photo, taken in a neutral grassland meadow, west London. The ovipositor is conical, not a blade. I haven't identified any Asilids before, so help is much appreciated. Thanks, Mick. mick attached the following image: ![]() [119.94Kb] |

The prey is a tachinid.
