I think not, closer to modesta but might be paniscus. it is rather odd in that abdomen pattern suggests that it is a female while the tegula is pale, a feature of males in some species. |

as far as I could read on this site and on the net, Villa genus is very difficult. I suppose that the name for this fly will be just Villa sp. ![]() ![]() Thank you David Amalia |

Try and obtain both sexes and pin them carefully, material in spirit often gets to me in poor condition with all the scales rubbed off. |
