 Hi,
Today I saw two flies that should probably be Mintho rufiventris. Is the one in the upper three pics a male and the one in the lowermost pic a female? Their faces are different.

 Missed this - sorry Smile They are certainly Mintho rufiventris but I'm not sure about the sexes and how much variability they exhibit.
