Scathophaga sp? Is a full ID possible?

They don't suggest Scathophaga to me - but it's pretty difficult to tell from this photo, and you saw them in real life which would help. I suspect they'll be some sort of Muscid.

They could be some Fucellia (Anthomyidae).

Difficult, it seems...Wink I've been looking over the photographs I made of these, but the picture above is the best I can come up with. I've tried photoshopping it but not with a better result.

Which family / species is most likely?
