Hello forum,

I think this fly is a Fanniidae:
Well developed mouth, A1 short and A2 whit a strong curve , no hairs behind the head (only in the mid a row of strong and short setae), and a submedian dorsal seta (and one below)?
And the sice is 5mm

But when it is not a Fanniidae.....can it be a Azelia ????

Greatings Joke
(sorry, not much to see on the photo, it is for the general look of the fly...Grin)

H?....Jorge is back!
Thanks for a reply on this topic (centuries old...Grin)
I recently made a start to study Muscidae, but those little one's are not easy.
And a mistake is easely made.
So you are saying that it is a Muscidae....then I wil study the fly again under the micros.

Thanks !! Joke

Joke, I don't think you have to find among Muscidae, I'd say female of Fannia.
Nikita
Jorge, where the hell you disappear every two month? It is a grate mystery for me!

female Fannia? i'm surprised. It is very stout to be a Fannia. In these holidays I will have much more time to see these flies with careful. Smile

Nikita, I was very busy with the studies. And I will keep them during holidays.
